The intent of this policy and program is to: 1) reduce and prevent discharge of pollutants to the maximum extent practicable from municipal operations and facilities; 2) provide for training of municipal employees in pollution prevention and good housekeeping techniques in municipal operations; 3) identify and implement specific management practices that apply to municipal operations; and 4) identify, track and report measurable goals to ensure the reduction of all pollutants of concern in stormwater discharges to the maximum extent practicable.
