As of March 6th 2017, there will be a change to
the garbage and green waste pickup. As of the week of March 6th, If your garbage has been picked up on
Monday, it will now be picked up on Thursday going forward. Because of this,
green waste will now be picked up on Monday. Garbage pickup done on Tuesday and
Wednesday will not change. Should a holiday fall on a Thursday, the DPW will
double up on the Wednesday pick up that week.
Beginning January 2017, Whitesboro Board of Trustee meetings will begin at 6pm unless otherwise noted in individual meeting notices

If you garbage pickup falls on a holiday, the Department of Public Works will pick up your garbage and recycling on THURSDAY of that same week. This applies to all residential and business properties in all three pick up zones. The holidays for our DPW department are:
New Year's Day
Martin Luther King Day
Fourth of July
